The only humane solution to controlling pet overpopulation is through prevention. Please don't add to the problem.
Our Mission
Pet Fixers-SNAP (Spay Neuter Assistance Program) is a not-for-profit
program founded July, 2012 with the purpose of educating and assisting pet owners to become
responsible pet owners by spaying and neutering their dogs and cats. We
want to stop the death of unwanted litters of kittens and puppies
through prevention.
We will accomplish this goal by helping to control the animal population by
promoting responsible pet ownership through education
providing financial assistance for the spaying and neutering
of companion animals for individuals unable to afford to sterilize
their pet.
Pet Fixers
Pet
Fixers is a program to help subsidize the spay and neuter of companion
animals for low income individuals. We do not spay and neuter "for
free." We will cover the cost of bringing in a low cost/low income
mobile spay neuter clinic as a way of providing pet owners an
opportunity to get their animals fixed at a price they can afford after
proof of eligibility has been provided.
If the pet owner cannot cover the entire cost themselves, Pet Fixers
will subsidize in part the cost of the surgery. We are willing to work
with the pet owners and ensure all animals are spayed and neutered.
Please be aware we will monitor the pet owners who ask for our
assistance. We are not here to make it easier for you to sell your pet
nor we are not here as a way for you to save money rather than use your
regular veterinarian.
The money Pet Fixers uses to provide services for spay and neuter
assistance is through the generosity of individuals and businesses who
understand the most humane and effective method of curbing the pet
overpopulation is - the spay and neutering of our pets. It is Pet
Fixer's responsibility to make sure this is carried out effectively and
in a fiscally responsible manner.
